Thrilled to announce that IIITB COMET Foundation and WiSig Networks Pvt. Ltd. have signed a Technology Transfer Agreement for the pioneering 32TR ORAN Radio Unit, developed for Advanced 5G massive MIMO base stations.
This indigenous innovation reduces India’s reliance on imported telecom equipment, enhances availability of network equipment from trusted sources, strengthens national security, and positions Indian companies as global suppliers.
Aligned with Atmanirbhar Bharat and Digital India, the 32TR RU (n78 band) supports robust, long range, high capacity 5G connectivity for urban and rural deployments.
The agreement enables WiSig Networks to manufacture and commercialize this cutting-edge technology globally.
