Scope of work:
In the intelligent reflecting surface (IRS)-enhanced wireless communication system, channel state information (CSI) is of paramount importance for achieving the passive beamforming gain of IRS, which, however, is a practically challenging task due to its massive number of passive elements without transmitting/receiving capabilities. In this project, the candidate will be responsible for CSI estimation and finally integration of hardware for the establishment of communication between a transmitter with user equipment via IRS in indoor environment.
Domain knowledge:
In depth knowledge in digital communication and wireless communication, Programming experience in C, C++, Python, MATLAB, OpenAirInterface (OAI).
Essential qualifications for JRF:
Graduate in Electrical Engineering/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation with at
least 1 years of industry/research experience or M.Tech/ME/MS in Electrical
Engineering/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation or related areas.
Qualified in any of the following National eligibility test/exam:
a. GATE
b. CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship)
c. National-level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Age limit for JRF:
35 years
Essential qualifications for RA:
Ph.D. or equivalent degree OR
Having 3 years of research, teaching, and design and development experience after ME/M.Tech. with at least one research paper in SCI journal.
Age limit for RA:
45 years
