Post-Doctoral Fellow

IIITB COMET Foundation (a section 8 company) is looking to support post-doctoral fellows in the areas of Advanced Communication Systems (ACS).

IIITB COMET Foundation is a technology innovation hub established under the ACS vertical of the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS), DST, Govt. of India.

Objective:

Support researchers in the advanced communication systems and allied areas to help them develop as a well-rounded independent researcher with essential technical and other supporting skills.

Responsibilities:

Conduct responsible and high-impact research work in ACS and allied areas.
Assist doctoral and post-graduate students in research based on mutual interests.
Manage a team of technical staff to deliver well-defined goals in a timely manner.
Assist with managerial responsibilities like industry outreach.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Needed:

Researchers with Doctoral degree or equivalent degree from any recognized institution.
Candidates should have papers published/presented in respected venues (well-respected conferences and journals).
Candidates who have submitted their thesis, but awaiting defence, can also apply.

Employment Classification:

Full-time.

Remuneration:

INR 80,000 – 1,00,000 p.m. (depending on skills and proven track record) for a period of one year. Extension for a second year may be possible depending on mutual agreement.

[In person] Bengaluru, India.
