Instructor / Training Specialist

IIITB COMET Foundation (A section 8 company) is hiring for the post of Instructor / Training Specialist.

Job Description:

The primary responsibility will involve teaching / classroom & lab instruction, with opportunities to get involved in ongoing research projects at IIITB COMET Foundation based on interest and necessity. 
The role will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IIITB COMET Foundation. This position is responsible for delivering a “Future Wireless Communication” curriculum focused on embedded systems and wireless technologies. This includes

  • Classroom instruction in accordance with predetermined syllabus (additions to the syllabus can be proposed)
  • Demonstrating relevant experiments in lab
  • Guiding students in real-time lab experiments
  • Administering and grading written and practical assessments in lab
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to cultivate industry interest in the program
  • Incorporate relevant changes to the syllabus based on industry inputs
  • Collaborate with the innovation team to incorporate entrepreneurial elements in the program
  • Attend program induction at Hyderabad, India before full-time role in Bangalore, India
  • Additional involvement in project management responsibilities and ongoing project/research activities based on interest and availability

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Needed:

  • Ph.D. in ECE/EE or equivalent. Alternatively, M.E. / M.Tech. graduates with relevant work experience will be considered.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Hands-on problem solving skills. 
  • Knowledge of embedded systems programming is preferred. 
  • Knowledge of 5G standards (or willingness to learn quickly) is preferred. 
  • Hands-on experience in telecommunication / hardware / networking technology is preferred.

Location:

[In person] Bengaluru, India. One to Three months of program induction in Hyderabad, India.
